Dan: Packing for
this trip seems almost overwhelming. I’ll be in California for 6 months before
Frances comes out with our furniture and any adult kids that aren’t staying in
Central PA. I only have to pack whatever clothes and incidentals I’ll need for
the next 6 months. How hard is that? It’s surprisingly difficult. How do I know
I won’t need my harmonica [even though I haven’t played it in a year.] So last night Frances and I spent quality Husband/Wife
time going through my closet and clothes drawers. I was unable to explain why I
had 6 identical navy blue tank top shirts. Frances was ruthless, but
admittedly, I feel much more prepared now.
And I’ll just learn to get by with only 3 identical navy blue tank top
shirts.
