The Alps Motel, Leadville, CO

We are holed up in the Alps motel in Leadville tonight.  The air is real thin, but the internet is fantastic!  Altitude 10,152'.  This county has 19 people per square mile.  I want to come live here.

Except that Dan read there are 264 days a year when the temperature gets below freezing.  That's brutal.

After driving, Dan is connecting with family.
