A rest area outside Amarillo. It was so sturdy that it could also bill itself as a Zombie Apocalypse shelter.

We told Curly he can't drive.



At one point we counted more than 100 wind turbines in view.  They were everywhere!


We saw a fire in a field.  Emergency crews were assembling, and seemed to be taking this very seriously.
